How to Make Mango Lassi , A Refreshing Indian Drink

 


Mango Lassi is almost everyone's favorite drink! Mango Lassi is a refreshing Indian drink that combines the sweetness of ripe mangoes with the coolness of curd.

This creamy and tropical drink is popular in Indian cuisine and you can choose to have it either chilled as a snack, dessert or with a savory meal.


Its sweetness increases even more when consumed in summer. One is scorching heat and the other is the coolness of Mango Lassi which satisfies the soul!


 In this article, we will guide you through the steps to make a delicious Mango Lassi in your own kitchen.


Things you need to make Mango Lassi:-


3-4 ripe mangoes


1 cup plain yogurt


1/2 cup milk


3 tbsp sugar (adjust according to taste)


1/4 tsp cardamom powder


ice cubes (optional)


fresh mint leaves to garnish (optional)



Follow the instructions :-



1. Choose ripe mangoes:-


First of all select ripe and fragrant mangoes. Ripe mangoes will be slightly soft to the touch and have a sweet aroma. You can use any variety of mango, but alphonso, chaunsa, or kesar mangoes are especially delicious for mango lassi. These mango varieties have a distinct flavor that enhances the sweetness of the lassi. Is!


2. Prepare mangoes: -


Wash the mangoes thoroughly.

Remove the skin of the mangoes using a sharp knife.

Cut the anus away from the pit and cut it into small pieces.





3. Mix the mangoes:-



Put diced mango pieces in a blender or food processor. If you prefer a more glutinous lassi, you can also use mango pulp, which is available in many supermarkets. It depends on your choice!


4. Add curd and milk:-


Add 1 cup plain and fresh yogurt to the blender.

Add 1/2 cup milk. You can use whole milk, low-fat milk, or almond milk (for a dairy-free option). Milk plays an important role in making Mango Lassi.


5. Sweeten Lassi:-


 Add 3 tbsp sugar to the mango lassi mixture. You can adjust the amount of sugar according to sweetness.

If you like sweetness in a spicy and aromatic kitchen, you can also optionally add 1/4 tsp cardamom powder. Cardamom complements the taste of mango very well. Adding cardamom to Mango Lassi enhances the taste!


6. Blend until smooth:-


Cover the blender and blend all the users on high speed for 1-2 minutes so that you get a gelatinous and creamy consistency. This step is the most effective step to make Mango Lassi!


7. Adjust the dialogue:-


If your mango lassi is too thick, you can add some ice cubes and blend again to reach the desired consistency. Ice cubes will make the lassi cooler and more refreshing.


According to my opinion, must adjust ice cubes in mango lassi, ice cubes give taste and coolness to the heart.


8. Drink cold: -



Pour your Mango Lassi into a tall glass.


 It is better if the glass is made of glass, because lassi wreaks havoc in it!

Decorate with the image of a fresh mint leaves.
