1 and 3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 and 1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

2 large eggs

1 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 teaspoons pureed vegetable itself

1 cup hot water

1 and 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder

5 cups powdered sugar

1/2 cup milk

2 teaspoons pureed vegetable itself

a little salt

As per instructions :-

Preheat the oven: -

Preheat your oven to 175°C. Grease and flour two 9-inch round layer cake pans with oil and flour. This prevents the cake from sticking to the pan and can be easily taken out.

Mix dry ingredients:-

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Use a whisk to spread everything evenly.

mix evenly

Mix the glass giving ingredients:-

Beat the eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil and vegetable oil until the batter is thick and well combined. At this time the mixture will be thick. The mixture should be normal, not wet at all!

Now add hot water:-

Slowly add hot water to the flour mixture, stirring until the mixture becomes thin. Don't worry, it's normal. Hot water helps in softening the cake. Add water slowly!

Baking :-

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 - 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prepare the Chocolate Frosting:-

In a large mixing bowl, beat soft butter. Add unsweetened cocoa powder, powdered sugar, milk, pure vanaspati itself and a little salt to it. Beat until frosting is thick and fluffy.

If it's too thick, add more milk, about a tablespoon at a time, to reach your desired consistency.

Now start decorating the cake :-

Once the cake is completely cooled, place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a generous layer of chocolate frosting on top.

Carefully place the second cake layer on top and frost the entire cake with the remaining frosting. You can get creative with your frosting design when it comes to serving.
